So Who Are These Guys and Girls?
Pictured Left: Carl "Millsy" Mills
Occupation: Breakfast Host
Age: 40 and proud of it
Life Story: Hey, Millsy (Carl Mills) here, a born & bred Southlander, who is currently the Breakfast host Hokonui Gold. I'm married (Ellen) and a father of two (Jessey and Taila). I live in Invercargill, and have been working in radio for 15 years. I am a self-confessed movie nut, like a good read, and I LOVE music. While I maybe a rocker at heart, I'll listen to anything (although not everything). I am loving my new role at Hokonui, and will hopefully have a long-lasting relationship with Gore, and all of Southland.

Pictured Left: Nicola "Nic" Henderson
Occupation: Millsy's side kick and all rounder
Age: 22
Life Story: A couple of years ago I had an epiphany - I wanted to be a radio announcer! So I somehow got accepted into the New Zealand Broadcasting School and got a job at Hokonui Gold! I moved to Gore in December and I'm loving the Southland lifestyle so far. Bit of a fitness nut so I'm looking forward to getting involved in a bit of netball over the coming months and getting to know a few more people in the mighty south. Apart from that I'm a huge fan of all sorts of music, my family, a little labrador called Olly and I believe that Thai cashew nut chicken is probably one of the best human inventions of all time.

Pictured Left: Jamie Mackay
Occupation: Farmingshow host
Age: Currently enduring third mid-life crisis.
Life Story: A former accountancy student at Otago University and Lincoln College graduate in agriculture, Jamie farmed sheep at Riversdale for 10 years before a brief and very undistinguished career as a frustrated househusband and local body politician. In 1994, he negotiated the purchase of (the then) 4ZG from Radio New Zealand - the first, and only, sale of a state-owned radio station to private enterprise in New Zealand. His Farmingshow can now be heard nationwide on the Radio Sport, Newstalk ZB and of course Hokonui Gold.
