Hokonui Gold's Farmingshow

The Farming Show itself began on the air in 1994 with the kickoff of Hokonui Gold. It was the brainchild of Chief Executive, Jamie Mackay, a former farmer who perceived a gap in the market with the downsizing of the National Programme's Rural Report in 1994.

Farming Today, as it was then known, was a 20 minute daily feature of weather, comment and regular guests. However it didn't stay that well-controlled for long. It now runs passed the hour mark and can lay claim to being the only daily hour-long farming programme specifically for the rural ector on New Zealand commercial radio.

The Ballance Agri-Nutrients & Nufarm Farming Show runs from noon to 1 pm weekdays, and thanks to the marvels of modern technology, is now available on the world wide web.

Hokonui Gold's Farming Show is now on-line with news, views and interviews for farming folk from the Cape to the Bluff (and around the world) updated daily, we reckon farmingshow.com is something pretty unique. See what you think, click your way to: Farmingshow.com
